Fafi Collection

So last friday, I went and picked up the other half of my Fafi Collection. I have yet to receive my box in the mail for the rest of it before I do a review. I had my makeup done at MAC, Nordstrom and ughh I hated it! It was completely horrible. My boyfriend sat there staring at my god sucken eyes in my skull. I wanted my makeup to look vibrant and out there. Instead I just looked like I died. =[

I have to say compared to the PRO store and the Makeup Counters, I prefer the Pro Store. The people there are so much nicer and so much more helpful. I'm so glad I found a Pro store I really like in the city. <3

I promise I will do a review soon, I've been so busy with school. Trying to get most of my homework done because I'm heading to the Warriors Game Wednesday.

What is everyone doing for Valentines' Day?!

My boyfriend and I feel that its ridiculous to just celebrate Valentines' Day ONE day of the year, sometimes we celebrate all year around. LOL. We both work later tonight so we had to celebrate ours last night. I had school until one but when I got out we went straight to the MAC Store and picked out some stuff from the FAFI collection. It wasn't all what I thought it would be. I wish the packaging was drawn on and not a sticker. =[

Some things I picked up:
1. 2 PRO Palettes
2. Cult Fave L/g
3. Sugar Trace L/g
4. FAFI makeup bag
5. FAFI Scarf
6. FAFI Doll

And they were all out of Nice Vice Paint Pots, so the makeup artist gave me the tester which was perfectly un used for FREE. I know right? The other night I shopped on MACCosmetics.com and picked up a few other items...

2. The rest of the FAFI Dolls
3. Cash Flow Paint pot
4. Rollickin' Paint Pot

And tomorrow I have a MAC Appt with a FAFI artist from Nordstroms, and I've pre ordered the rest of my stuff so I'm definitely getting that tomorrow.

The boyfriend also took me to a romantic dinner at the Pier in a restaurant called "Aliotos". The food was soooooo goooooddd! MmMmM and my valentines' day gift was 10 pigments he picked out at the MAC store with a makeup artist when I wasn't looking! =]

Introduction

Hey everyone!
This is my first blog entry and I'm simply new to this whole thing. I really wanted to start a makeup blog of reviews and things to help people who are interested in wanting to know more or needing a first step up to it. I truly believe that makeup is an art form and your face is the canvas. You have the power to simply control your strokes and colors. Tomorrow is the new MAC FAFI release, which is open to the public. I'm hoping my boyfriend will take me after school in hopes to pick up a few items for my first reviews. I have an appointment on friday at Nordstrom for a makeup consultation and I've pre ordered some stuff as well. There expecting a line tomorrow so I wasn't sure and went ahead and ordered a few items online and a few ahead of time. I'll definitely let you guys know how it all goes and cross my fingers for me that I'm able to even get a few of the things I've been eyeing!
